Nostrification rules
The university is on the Ministry of Health's list of universities that nostrify doctors' diplomas. The rules are set out in the rector's ordinance No. 132/2025 of 26 May 2025, which replaced ordinance No. 18/2023.
- You address the application to the Vice-Rector for Student Affairs and Education and submit it through the Student Affairs and Education Department (Dział ds. Studenckich i Kształcenia, al. Tadeusza Rejtana 16C, building A1, room 36).
- The decision is made within 90 days. Time for translations, exams and placements does not count towards this period.
- The nostrification page is in Polish only.
Exams and verification of knowledge
The dean appoints a committee (at least 3 people, chaired by a holder of a habilitation degree). The committee gives its opinion within 30 days and, if the programmes differ, sets exams or placements. A resit takes place no earlier than 7 days later (§ 7 of the ordinance).
