About and contact

Nostryfikuj.pl brings together in one place information on the recognition in Poland of diplomas obtained outside the European Union by doctors, dentists, nurses, midwives, veterinarians, pharmacists, physiotherapists and other medical professionals. The website is available in Polish, English, Ukrainian and Russian, because these are the languages in which people moving their medical careers to Poland most often look for information.

Where our information comes from

We rely on sources that can be checked:

  • acts and regulations published in the Journal of Laws (Dziennik Ustaw),
  • resolutions of university senates, rectors’ ordinances and university websites, including the Public Information Bulletin (Biuletyn Informacji Publicznej),
  • announcements from the Medical Examinations Centre (CEM), professional bodies and ministries.

For each university we give the sources and the date the data was checked. If a piece of information cannot be confirmed in a source, we mark it as ‘to be completed’ instead of guessing.

How the ranking is made

The ranking of nostrifying universities takes into account only published, verifiable facts: the scientific category, the nostrification fee, the information available to applicants and the range of professions. We describe the criteria and weights on the ranking page. A university’s position does not depend on cooperation with the website or with its partners.

Contact

Write to prospect.med.ua@gmail.com or call +48 502 254 905.

We are happy to answer questions about how the website works and to respond to proposals for cooperation. The outcome of nostrification is decided by the university, and the licence to practise by the relevant professional chamber, so contact them directly about a specific application.

Errors or outdated information

University rules and laws change. If you see an older version on our website, write to prospect.med.ua@gmail.com and include a link to the source. We correct the data after checking it and update the verification date.

Cooperation

Language schools, sworn translators, law firms and healthcare employers can join us as partners. You will find the details on the Partners page.
