Nostrification rules
The university is on the Ministry of Health's list of universities that nostrify doctors' diplomas. Applications concerning the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences are accepted by the Education Department (Dział Kształcenia), ul. Licealna 9, room 110 or 113. Applications are accepted on paper only.
In the autumn 2021 session of LEK, the final medical exam, UZ graduates sitting it for the first time had the highest average score in the country: 167 points (51 people; data from the Medical Examinations Centre, CEM).

Exams and verification of knowledge
Nostrification exams take place on dates announced on the website, with a limited number of places and a reserve list. For example, for the exam on 20 March 2027 you must submit your documents by 22 January 2027. The page announces that from the March 2027 exam a statement on the diploma from the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) will be required. to be completed Format and pass mark of the exam.
